We were delighted to welcome Francis Duffy and other members of the Navan Silver Band to our school on Friday, 25th November. Children from Second to Sixth Classes gathered for a recital and we also learned about the instruments belonging to the brass section of the orchestra. We sang along to some well-known pieces and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience for us all. We thank the members of the band who took the time to be with us in St. Joseph’s and we look forward to singing with the Navan Silver Band at their Christmas Concert in the Newgrange Hotel on Sunday, 11th December at 7.30pm.
