On Sunday, 26th May, seven children from our school travelled to the National Concert Hall for their performance in the National Children’s Choir 2019. It was a wonderful experience for the children. They sang in the company of 350 children from schools all around the country. It was a beautiful performance with the backing of the full orchestra and conducted by Marian Mullen. The children sang from a very challenging repertoire. We thank the children and their teachers, Ms. Smith, Ms. Casey and Ms. Murphy, for their hard work in preparation for this great event. No doubt it will be a treasured memory for all of the children involved!
