We have enjoyed a lovely lead into the Christmas holidays. We have been so pleased to welcome parents and extended families back to St. Joseph’s this year for our Junior and Senior Infant Nativity Plays. Very well done to the children and their teachers on wonderful performances which reminded us all of the message at the centre of Christmas – the birth of the Baby Jesus. We also enjoyed a beautiful Carol Service for all of the children and staff of the school during which we enjoyed performances by all classes.
Well done to the winners of our Christmas Raffle and we thank Glanmore Foods for their very generous sponsorship of two food hampers. The proceeds of the raffle will go to the Parents’ Association.
We wish all of the children, parents, staff and families of St. Joseph’s Mercy Primary School a joyful and peaceful Christmas and every blessing for the New Year.
