The children in Ms. Beatty’s 4th class learned how to make butter using just cream and a jam jar. They learned that by putting some cream in a jar and by shaking it continuously the buttermilk sank to the bottom of the jar and the butter rose to the top. Not only did the children learn how to make butter, they also got to enjoy the butter they made by spreading it on fresh brown bread!
