On Wednesday, 6th February we held a ‘Maths for Fun’ event for first, second and third classes. The children from Mrs. Casey’s sixth class and over twenty parents got together to play games with the children. We played snakes and ladders, bingo, ‘Twenty Clown’, darts and ‘Ten Star’. The children also worked with pattern blocks and had a go at construction. The children really enjoyed this event. They put their maths knowledge to great use! We would like to thank Mrs. Casey and her sixth class children for all of their help. We especially thank the great number of parents who helped out with this event, some of whom even took time off work to be with us. A great time was had by all!
