The children of St. Joseph’s Mercy Primary School were delighted to be invited to be part of the Navan Silver Band’s Christmas Concert. The concert took place in the Newgrange Hotel on Sunday, 11th December and it was a wonderful event, enjoyed by everyone. The children sang a number of pieces on their own, ‘I am the Earth’, ‘Gifts from God’, A Better Place’ and ‘Calypso Carol’. The children also joined with children from St. Oliver’s PS to sing some pieces with the band. They sang ‘Do they know it’s Christmas?’, ‘Silent Night’ and ‘Merry Christmas Everyone’. Well done to everyone involved and we look forward to our next shared event with the Navan Silver Band!
