We have had an amazing response to our art competition, ‘Re-create a Masterpiece’. As a central part of the Visual Arts Curriculum, we encourage the children to look at, and respond to, works of art. We look at how an artist deals with a theme and the techniques used by the artist.
We thank the children and their parents for their wonderful entries. Great thought and creativity was evident in each of the entries we received. It was a very difficult competition to judge and we are giving prizes to the top six entries. There will also be a small gift for every child who sent an entry and children will receive their prizes next week. Well done to everyone – the photos speak for themselves!
