It was with great sadness that we heard the news of the death of our friend, Esther Smyth. Esther worked as a member of the ancillary team in St. Joseph’s Mercy Primary School for over 40 years. Esther was greatly loved by children and staff alike. She was so kind to every one of us and for this she will always be remembered. As a school community, we extend our deepest sympathy to Esther’s husband, Séamus, to her daughters, Linda, Sandra, Julie and Susan, and to all of Esther’s family and friends. May Esther be rewarded for her goodness and kindness and may she rest in peace.
